Penalties and Suspensions per Hockey Manitoba
AP Process
Playing Sanctioned teams & Travel Permits

On behalf of Hockey Brandon and Hockey Manitoba, please find the following information regarding penalties and suspensions.   These are the more common infractions.  This information and other suspension guidelines are found in the Hockey Manitoba handbook and their website.

Some teams that play in other leagues (Hockey Winnipeg, Parkissimo, RMFHL & MFHL) may have specific rules that apply to league play.  If not, we follow the regulations set out by Hockey Manitoba.  Leagues may lengthen a suspension, however, they cannot lessen the guidelines set out by our Branch.

Below you will find a list of penalties and/or suspensions that may apply.  If you ever have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the following Hockey Manitoba representative for our region:
Tim Lang       204-596-8165
We may need to wait until the referee report is received to provide a final ruling.   Referees do not deal with suspensions only penalties.   Please do not question an on-ice official, timekeeper or scorekeeper with regards to a suspension.
